If college degree is not in Early Childhood Education, 12 college credit hours must be in early education field. College transcripts must be provided.
CPR/AED and First Aid required.
Must have 2 years’ experience in child care or education field.
One year minimum of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Budget development and administration skills preferred. Planning and program development skills are helpful.
Computer skills needed, particularly with Microsoft Office and email applications.

Provide superior customer service to all parents with children in the school or who are considering enrolling their children in the school.
Manage the operation of the school in the Director’s absence.
Assist the Directors with various management responsibilities.
Help ensure maximum enrollment of students while maintaining effective cost controls.
Help the school continue to meet local childcare regulatory and licensing requirements.
Observe, adhere, and ensure all applicable laws, rules, and regulations are followed.
Monitor and assist in the upkeep of the school.
Must pass all required background checks
Frequent walking, standing, sitting, kneeling, crawling, squatting, reaching, bending, and crouching.
CPR/AED and First Aid training Required
Part-time
Develops and modifies before/after school activities
Monitors appropriate use and care of materials
Plans aftercare activities and projects that are engaging and age-appropriately
Assists in supporting positive behavior of students in a respectful manner
Monitors students engaged in independent work, group projects, or similar activities

Encourage healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods.
Maintain a keen awareness of children who have allergies and food restrictions.
Ensure food service area and food are free of nuts, nut products or food items that have been processed in a facility that also processes nut products.
Follow the daily menu prepared in collaboration with or by the Director.
Assist with ordering food and calculating the amount needed.
